During a recent Emirates flight from Mumbai to Dubai, the Gulf carrier had just one passenger onboard the 427 seat Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Due to the COVID-19 situation and the development of a more contagious variant, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government placed travel restrictions on people arriving from India.
